INVITATION TO INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

THE ECONOMIZATION OF SOCIAL WORK: DIFFERENT APPROACHES IN RESPOND TO CHALLENGES”.

19-21 June 2014, Kaunas, Lithuania

The conference aims to bring together researchers, social work practitioner, students, representatives of helping professions to discuss responds to the challenges of social work’s economization.

The conference Organizing Committee is inviting to submit abstracts to present the results of the research or reflected experience. Abstracts are invited for oral presentation.

Conference themes:

1. Social work in the context of changing society and economization.

2. Social work professionalization: case management vs. helping process

3. Interprofessional cooperation: sharing ideas how to cope with challenges. 

Conference language: English

Important dates:

Opening date for abstract submission 31 March

Closing date for abstract submission   31 May

Closing date for early registration        25 April

Closing date for registration                  10 June

Guidelines for Abstracts:

The abstracts should be submitted to the Conference by e-mail to conference coordinator Vilma Ražanauskaitė: v.razanauskaite@sgi.vdu.lt

The content of the abstracts should answer the subjects of the Conference.

The abstract should be written in English.

The abstract (including the title and the authors' names) shouldn't contain more than 4000 symbols, including the spaces. The texts should be written using the Program MS Word for Windows beginning with 6.0 and font type Times New Roman, 12-point, single-spaced, justified. You can include images and tables made with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Participants from Lithuania are kindly invited to contact coordinator about the conference fee

The conference registration fee includes:  lunches, coffee breaks, welcome reception, conference bag, conference sessions, and conference certificate.
